PIXELD · IMMERSIVE COMPUTE

Bring centralized GPU compute into VR and XR.

PixelD extends the same real-time visual compute model into immersive applications, simulation and interactive worlds, with headset display, tracking and controller paths qualified per device and deployment.

WHAT THIS PIXELD MODE MEANS

One PixelD fabric. A workload-specific operating profile.

PixelD Immersive Compute places the application and heavy rendering on managed CPU/GPU infrastructure while a qualified headset becomes the interaction and display endpoint. The model is an extension of the same PixelD fabric already used for high-fidelity 3D and interactive applications.

WHY IT MATTERS

Move the workload to the right compute without losing operational control.

PixelD is evaluated around user experience, centralized control, security boundaries, resilience and infrastructure efficiency—not only around a remote-display protocol.

IMMERSIVE GPU COMPUTE

Run high-fidelity immersive applications on centralized GPU resources instead of limiting experience to headset-local compute.

QUALIFICATION-FIRST

Measure headset refresh, stereo resolution, tracking, controller latency, frame variance and motion-to-photon behavior before production claims.

USE CASES

Start with the workload, not the endpoint.

Choose one expensive, difficult or highly controlled workload and qualify the experience before expanding the operating model.

Industrial training

Immersive training, plant walkthroughs and repeatable operational scenarios.

Engineering review

Walk through 3D models, digital environments and design concepts with centralized rendering.

Research & education

Immersive scientific visualization, labs and technical teaching environments.

Interactive worlds

Games, demonstrations, virtual spaces and real-time experiences powered by managed GPU compute.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Understand the boundary before the pilot.

PixelD claims are intentionally tied to measured or qualified deployment conditions rather than universal performance promises.

Does PixelD support VR headsets?

PixelD now includes an Immersive/XR operating mode. Production support is qualified per headset, runtime, tracking/input path, network and compute profile.

Is PixelD VR already fully benchmarked?

No universal VR benchmark is claimed yet. Interactive 3D application execution has been demonstrated; headset-specific refresh, stereo, tracking, controller and motion-to-photon measurements are the next qualification step.

Why centralize VR rendering?

It can give immersive applications access to stronger managed GPU compute and controlled application/data environments, but latency-sensitive deployments must be measured carefully.

NEXT STEP

Prove this workload on PixelD.

Define the application, endpoint, network, compute profile, data boundary and measurable acceptance criteria. Then qualify it under real operating conditions.
